Trip To The Orchestra

Today the 22nd of NOVEMBER  we are going to the orchestra with all of the year 5 students. We are going to leave at 1:00. This is what we have to do first is we have to eat our morning tea at 11:00 then we eat our lunch at 11:30. After that we have to pack up the class and go to the toilets if we need to. After a few minutes after that we  get into our groups for the orchestra.

Yesterday was cool as I told you about our trip. When we got to the orchestra we had to sit down on our seats and we had to be quiet then it all started. Then a man came out from the curtains and talked to us about the orchestra. After a minute or half the orchestra started playing their songs.

On Tuesday as normal day we came to school and played. When the bell rang we had to go inside. When we got inside we did ssr. After ssr we went into our literacy classes when I got into my literacy class room 10 watched a little video about Mr Bean. After watching the video we went to line up outside to go for a walk to the field. When we got to the field we had to do some acting.The first person to go up was Marika. After Marika it was Lavonah and Loseti had to go up. After that we had to come back to class to do our work.

Reaction Question

Do you think it is a good idea to learn our time tables using songs? why\why not : I think that you can because if you do you can remember your time tables and you wont forget them.

Our trip to stardome

Last Thursday Rooms 9, room 10, room 7, room 8, and room 6 went on a trip to Star dome. First we had a little talk about what was going to happen. After a few minutes later we went to go and eat our morning tea. After that we went to the bus and when we went to get on the bus it was so hot. I was so hot and I really had to hop off because I was getting very dizzy. When we got to the Star dome we went to go and sit on the grass and then the teacher went over the rules because if we didn't we what of broke something. Then a few minutes later we went inside then a man named John talk to us. Then we went into a big room with lots of chairs. The man named John talked to us about the solar system. After that we did a little quiz and My team name was space girls. After the quiz we went to go and sit down on the ground and then John took us into a big big room and then played a little video. After the video we went back outside then we sat down and we waited for the bus then we got on the bus and then went back to school.

Immersion Assembly

Welcome back to school on the first day of school. We went to the hall and did immersion assembly Mr Burt did some talking a he said it's time for team 1 and they did a video and the whole video was about kites. Team 1 ,2 and 3 was learning about kites. Then it was team 4 did some talking about what we should be learning about. Team 5 was doing bob the builder and the team fixes stuff. Thats the end of the story

Untie the human knot

we had to grab each other's had and we had to twist ourselves out of the tangled knot. It was so funny because my team fall over and I was laughing. Miss West said stop and we stopped and he said start we did it again and again tell we got dizzy. I got so dizzy that I fell over and docked my head on the ground.

                                                                       

Tepaia WRITING A NARRATIVE

One happy day Sam,Eva and Jojo went for a walk and they saw lots of rubbish on the park.  They  were so disappointed so they went to go and pick it all up but when they went to the beach there was more rubbish. They got very tired so they went home and had a little rest and then the next day they went to the beach and they picked all the rubbish up. When they were walking home they saw Pt England school filled with lots of rubbish and they didn't want to do it because they were so so tired. So they went home and came back the next day and they snuck into Pt England School and picked up all the rubbish and they went home. Now everybody know to pick up all the rubbish and keep our environment tidy.
