Politician

If you want to be a politician you will have to work very hard. You have to go round to the people houses and knock on there door and stand on the side of the road and the sign will say vote for me. You have to go to campaign meetings and try and try to let them vote for you because they will come and say poo, but some people will say yeah go you can do it and you have to.

Politician work in both Wellington and their local electorate. The taxes that comes from our parents goes to the politician to give to the president and then the president gives it to the poor people and the people that is in hospital.

Firefighter David

If you want to be a firefighter you have to fill out a long form and do all kinds of tests. You have to be a good firefighter because you have to rescue a dummy for 8 minutes. You have to run up and down the stairs after that you have to drag a hose. Then you have to pull up the ladder and you are going to have a heavy tank on your back and you have to concentrate on your job and be strong if you want to be part of the team.

Firefighters respond to emergency calls in a variety of ways.

If you are in a car crash call the firefighters has special tools to cut them out of the car and have long ladders to save the cats from the trees and save people in the fire.

Fire trucks are like a moving tool-box. A fire truck carries a long hoses a pick-axe, gas masks a siren a heavy oxygen tanks a ladder and a first aid kit and a powerful engine. A fire truck is red and a little bit white and it is cool if you want a ride on it.

I would like to be a firefighter because they do lots of cool stuff like rescue people, put out fire, pull-up the heavy ladder. The people call the firefighters to put out the fire and rescue people from getting sick.
