Once upon a time there had once lived a girl named Mia, Mia was not a human she was a mermaid and she was not like every other mermaid she was different to others. She was a mermaid that always listened to people she was a friendly mermaid but the others didn't really care about listening and they were mean.

One day Mia went out with her friends and her friends aren't that nice. They took Mia to a place she had never been before. She was getting far from home and she was getting scared. A while later they had made it to Atlantis where all the fish and other underwater creatures had lived.

Mia was so surprised and she liked it there but her friends wanted to go because they have been there lots of times but Mia didn't want to leave she wanted to stay so her friends left her and Mia was but herself she was not scared anymore because it was such a beautiful place.

She was not scared there, she swam all the way down until she had reached a cave. She went inside the cave and she heard someone, she got scared and hid behind a big rock. What she had seen was a mermaid but she was evil. Mia got caught and she was scared the evil mermaid said what are you doing down here this is my cave.

Mia saw lots of potions, she even saw a potion that had said human legs. Mia was not as scared anymore. She asked the evil mermaid is that potion to give legs to anyone and the evil mermaid said yes. Mia asked if she could use some of it and the evil mermaid said yes but make sure don't drink all of it and Mia said OK.

She had a drink of the potion and it didn't work until a few minutes she had legs and she also could still breath under water she said to the evil mermaid thank you I have always wanted legs Mia also said by the way my name is Mia and the evil mermaid said my name is Maleficent and all you could see is Mia rushing out of the cave well saying goodbye.

Mia had made it back to Atlantis and she swam all the way home but she was scared because she didn't want her parents to find out what she had done so she swam all the way to shore and walked up on to the sand she was having trouble because she had never new how to work her new legs.

Mia went up onto the road and she nearly got ran over but a man ran over and grabbed her she got scared of him and ran to the water but when the man tried to grab her to see if she was OK Mia was already gone she swam back to the cave because she knew she wouldn't be like the human people. When she got to the cave she begged Maleficent for her tail back.

Maleficent said i'll give you the potion to get back your tail she said I never do this but since I haven't had a visitor in ages here is the potion Mia drank all of it and in a few minutes she had her tail back she said thank you so much bye she swam back to her home and she had always went back to visit Maleficent.

My life story

Hello my name is Tepaia, when I was a little girl I used to attend St John's preschool. When I had got to preschool, I had to write my name on a piece of paper to let the teachers know that I was at school that was one of my favorite things to do in the morning.

When I had the chance to paint I would go to get the paint brushes and wait for the teacher to put the canvas up for me and what I did was I put paint on my hand then put it onto the canvas when I was done I would go and wash my hands. Then I would go play outside in the park.

When I turned 5 I had left preschool and then attended Pt England School. As days and months went past I had hit the age of 11 and I was in room 6 for home class and room 8 for literacy.Room 6 teacher was fun and the room 8 teacher was also fun. 

When I left rooms 8 and 6 in team 4 we went on a camp called kawau island. It was so fun there I got to know more things about people. Then we had the holiday and when I came back to school I became a year 7. When it was getting closer to the middle of the term we had we to rainbows end it was so fun.

When it got closer to the end of the term we had prize giving it was so fun to dance. After a few days we went on holiday again and when I got back to school I became a year 8 and what I like about this year is I have met new people.

How do you respect people? Have you ever thought that everyone will respect you if you do something mean to them well keep reading to find out how you can be respectful.

Respecting other people can be like listening to other people's ideas and being thankful for what you get from others, Treat other people how you would like to be treated, Encourage people and way more.

If you would like to become friends with other people don't act mean just be nice because if you are mean they will think that you might be a fake friend when you ask to be friends with them.

If other people do not accept you as their friend it is because you are mean to them and they don't like it. If you would like to be friends with them be nice to everyone and treat them how you will treat your family.

Treat others how you would like to be treated.Don't act mean to people if you want to become friends. Treat them like how you treat your own family.

Task description: What I had to do for this weeks reading is I had to explain the treaty of Waitangi and why it was important. I also had to explain how the British people had made the Maori chiefs sign the treaty and how also the Queen of England had give them her protection. There were different version of the treaty English and Maori.

A special place where I would like to take my family

Have you ever wanted to take your family somewhere for a special event? Like a birthday, Reunions with family, Or just to have fun. Well there are way more things to choose from.

Where I would like to take my family is to rainbows end because I want them to have a good time with each other and me. When we are at home we all just go on our phones and laptops actually anything that has to do with the internet.

The second reason why I would like to go there is because I know I would have fun with family and I know that they would have fun with other people going on rides and lots more.

The third reason why is because We can just get out of the house and get some fresh air because when we stay home we don't go outside and play we stay inside doing boring stuff. Playing games and way more.

Where would you like to take your family? Would you like to take your family on a trip or more? Well the reason why I have chosen rainbows end is because it is the closest thing to where we live and we can just drive there. But there are way more places to choose from right but I have chosen there is because there are lots of cool rides all of us can go on and have fun with each other.

Is candy better than chocolate?

Do you think candy is better than chocolate?

Well, what I think about this question is that chocolate is way better than candy. Well, there are three reasons why I know chocolate is better.

The first reason why I think chocolate is better than candy is because eating hard candy could get stuck between your teeth but with chocolate, it just melts in your mouth and it is so scrumptious.

The second reason why I think it is better is because if someone has a tooth problem they don't want to bite into a hard piece of candy when you can just bite into a soft chocolate.

The third reason why is because eating hard candy could give you lots of rotten teeth and it also could give you decay, and it would be very yuck.

Good education=good future

Well to have a good education you have to get a good education from teachers going to a privet school or a public school it could change your lives there are test,Math,Reading,Writing and more subjects like that.

Well of getting a good education could make you a better person and also be one smart person but it is not just about being smart it could help you By getting a career or a job that inspires you.

If you want a career that inspires you and interests you have a good education. Well getting a job could be everything it could make you money to get you a house for you and your family and it also change your life.

Well just imagine if you didn’t get a good education it could lead you to not getting a great future job or if you have ever wanted to have your dream job always studies and become a better person. Getting a good education could make your life easier and more happier.

How to be a good friend

Introduction: Happy, Funny, Smiley that is what you expect anyone could be friends with but it is more than you thought. They might be mean, bad and get angry for no reason is not a good friend. Being mean can make someone hate you but whenever you get a friend you treat them right, but today I am going to tell you three main tips on how to be a good friend.

Tip 1: If your friend tells you something you listen you never ignore but you say that you are listening to them because you are lying and when someone is telling you something you do not talk over them once they have finished you can give a opinion.

Example: (Story finished) Yeah well in my opinion next time you should just tell the truth so it doesn't turn bigger.

Tip 2: If your friend has told you a big secret you can never tell anyone because if you do your friend can be really mean to you because you told someone and it could also make you lose your friends trust and it could make them hate you forever. But also saying sorry will not fix it.

Example:(Secret been told) Wow that is a very big secret "you will tell know one right" no I wont I promise.

Tip 3: If you have something to tell your friend but it is not very nice do not lie about it or your friend will know that you are hiding something. But it also could make you lose your friendship and it could end up in a difference place.

Example: (Friend walking up to you) Hey! I need to tell you something but it wont wreck our friendship right? Well um I have told my mum that I was going to your house and I didn't go to your house?
